Chicagoland tuners WheelSTO have released a video showing off their work on the BMW 135i. Set to “Give Me That Slow Knowing Smile,” by singer Lisa Ekdahl, the 90-second video shows some of the vehicle’s assembly, and video of the car cruising through famed Blues Brothers and Batman locale Lower Wacker Drive.
The WSTO Project 1 v1.2 was introduced over the summer, but significant work has been added since its reveal. Mods include a Bastuck quad-pipe exhaust that “really lets the turbo engine sound come through.” A carbon fiber rear diffuser from 3D Design was shipped in from Japan, attaching perfectly to the stock bumper. H&R Sport Springs drop the car significantly. Gunmetal-finish Advan RZ wheels measure 19×8 +45 and 19×9 +50 are wrapped in Yokohama Advan AD08 performance tires.
Other companies involved in the project include IND/A&L, K1 Productions, and VS Motorsports.
WheelSTO started off with a twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder BMW 135i that produced 300-horsepower, and boosted power to 414-horsepower at the wheel. The company says 376 and 327-horsepower editions are also possible.
Believe the rumors because they’re true; Audi does have a secret test track hidden up in the Northern Cape. Situated about 30-kilometres East of Pofadder, this satellite image taken off Google Maps clearly shows the elusive oval test facility lying out in a portion of desert said to be a strict no-fly zone. Roughly four kilometers from corner to corner, this gargantuan piece of asphalt also appears to have a smaller, more technical handling track intersecting its two main straights as well as fully equipped pit facility. One of the hottest parts of South Africa, you can bet this is where Audi does a great deal of their warm weather testing. Don’t believe me? Go check it out on Google Maps for yourself…
“It’s a 3.8-litre 90-degree V8 mounted amidships and producing ‘around 600bhp and 443lb ft’. ‘It delivers the highest horsepower to CO2 ratio of any car on the market today with an internal combustion engines – and that includes petrol and diesel hybrids,’ boasts Antony Sheriff, MD of McLaren Automotive. Expect a CO2 output somewhere just south of 300g/km.
Contrary to earlier speculation, this is McLaren’s own V8, dubbed M838T and breathed on by twin turbos and driving the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox (no manual is available). The V8 has a dry sump and a flat-plane crank like a race engine, to lower the centre of gravity and allow a higher rev limit of 8500rpm.
Every single component of the MP4-12C is unique, vows McLaren. Not a single switch or part is pilfered from a rival’s parts bin.
I have failed to comment on Julius Malema and the youth league! But enough is enough – it seems like the youth league is run by the dumbest members of the ANC – truly this seems to be a collection of the most moronic minds of the youth of South Africa – if this is not a group of the dumbest people anyone has ever heard of then i am seriously concerned with the youth of our country!
THE MOST SCARY THING IS – FOR THOSE OF YOU OUTSIDE OF OUR BORDERS – THIS IS THE YOUTH LEAGUE OF OUR RULING PARTY!
The background to this interview is that the leader of this youth league said that the leader of the Democratic party – Helen Zille – was sleeping around to get ahead in politics – something as moronic as that. A local radio station got their spokes person onto the radion to try explain! THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED!
I WILL LET THE COMMENTS ON UTUBE SPEAK FOR ME IN RESPONSE TO THIS ABSOLUTE DEGENERATE
Quite simply put.
There is NO pill for STUPID!!
Ha Ha what a chop!
