If we have in any way depressed you because you are not going to spend tomorrow in any of these perfect locations – DONT STRESS – most of them are northern hemisphere and they will be absolutely CRAP tomorrow as well as CAPE TOWN and you have a full six months to get your shit together and get on a  plane!

I guess the most interesting thing to take out of this is that at the rate at which texting is growing and the advances made in both cellular and mobile connectivity – we could see at some stage people only communicating via text! Which would mean teenagers predominantly would STOP TALKING – personally i think this is a good thing however it does mean that adults would crash alot more cars!

Im not so sure – this thing is supposed to represent our country to the rest of the world and this is the best we could come up with?

Now Piper is a brilliant brand – if you dont believe me go see for yourself – they believe champagne is an orgy of hysteria, fun, colour, sound etc etc – in fact its an extravaganza of hedonism more than anything else.  Just logging into their website is NUTS!

Champagne makers Piper Heidsieck have worked with master shoe maker Christian Louboutin in a box set. The set consists of a bottle of champagne and a glass shoe designed by Christian Louboutin. Mercedes’ latest Flagship Supercar SLS AMG Appears Online Ahead of Frankfurt Debut

It’s been a long time in the making, but the first details and images of the new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG have finally emerged in advance of its scheduled debut next week at the Frankfurt auto show.

Slotting in above the SL63 AMG Black Series and effectively replacing the SLR supercar which Daimler made in conjunction with its Formula One racing partner McLaren, the new SLS AMG sits at the pinnacle of the Silver Star’s performance range. The gull-winged supercar packs the company’s signature 6.3-liter V8 engine offering up 563 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque driving the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, giving the 3500-lb supercar an anticipated 3.7-second sprint to 60 with a top speed just under 200 miles per hour. Available carbon-ceramic discs keep all that speed in check, packed into a retro design evocative of the iconic Mercedes-Benz 300SL.

It’s available in any color you want, as long as it’s silver: the catalog includes two shades of grey, silver and red for the truly extroverted, with a price tag in the neighborhood of $250,000. Tune in next week to see what it looks like from the floor of the Frankfurt show.

Is South Africa’s answer to Hugh Hefner ready to leave the country? Lolly Jackson, who owns a string of Teazers nightclub,s has been saying since 2006 that he was ready to leave the country. Now his home in the Befordview area is one of the properties up for auction by Saville Row Auctions on October 1. The fast-living, poker-playing beacon of controversy is selling a home that has five bedrooms, a gym, a sauna, and a Jacuzzi. Jackson is an exotic car collector and so the home has five garages. The grounds also include a garden, pool and aviary.

Jackson has long complained over bad treatment in South Africa saying that he receives harsher treatment than other people because of the business he is in. Most recently he was in court over complaints that he illegally employed Eastern Europeans at his Teazers clubs. He is also being investigated by the South African Revenue Service.

It’s time again for the list of the most expensive hotel suites and the latest survey from Wealth Bulletin rounds up some of the usual suspects. We’ve seen the Royal Penthouse Suite at the President Wilson Hotel in Geneva Switzerland top lists before and it does here too at the highest rate we’ve seen so far, an astronomical $65,000 a night for the four-bedroom suite. It occupies the entire top floor of the hotel and has bulletproof windows and doors. The suite is popular with international diplomats.Last year’s winner, the Ty Warner Penthouse at the Four Seasons in New York City was a distant second at $35,000 a night. The top ten list has a few new entries: he Presidential Suite at the Hotel Cala di Volpe in Sardinia which features a rooftop terrace with a saltwater swimming pool, the Villa La Cupola Suite at the Westin Excelsior in Rome set inside a cupola with a lavish frescoed Jacuzzi area and the Presidential Suite at the Ritz-Carlton in Tokyo.

The 10 most expensive hotel suites according to Wealth Bulletin’s survey for 2009 are:
