Cape Town -- The Killers have announced their first South African tour.

The Killers will play at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg on December 4 and at the Val De Vie Estate in Cape Town on December 6. Tickets range from R269 to R526 and are available at Computicket.

It’s time again for the list of the most expensive hotel suites and the latest survey from Wealth Bulletin rounds up some of the usual suspects. We’ve seen the Royal Penthouse Suite at the President Wilson Hotel in Geneva Switzerland top lists before and it does here too at the highest rate we’ve seen so far, an astronomical $65,000 a night for the four-bedroom suite. It occupies the entire top floor of the hotel and has bulletproof windows and doors. The suite is popular with international diplomats.Last year’s winner, the Ty Warner Penthouse at the Four Seasons in New York City was a distant second at $35,000 a night. The top ten list has a few new entries: he Presidential Suite at the Hotel Cala di Volpe in Sardinia which features a rooftop terrace with a saltwater swimming pool, the Villa La Cupola Suite at the Westin Excelsior in Rome set inside a cupola with a lavish frescoed Jacuzzi area and the Presidential Suite at the Ritz-Carlton in Tokyo.

The 10 most expensive hotel suites according to Wealth Bulletin’s survey for 2009 are:

1. The Royal Penthouse Suite, President Wilson Hotel, Geneva: $65,000 per night

They’re made to look like his blood samples on microscope slides which he houses in a wooden box in the show, so totally adds to the sick character of the show. No mess, no fuss. We want – even though we can’t remember the last time a coaster was ever used around this place.

See, now how difficult was that? So stop with your ‘Made in China’ desk clock / calculator and just send alcohol already to dull the pain of dealing with your incompetent, stupid call centre based in India.

Quentin Tarantino: Brad Pitt Forced Me To Smoke Hash!

Quentin Tarantino went on the Howard Stern radio show and claimed that Brad Pitt gave him a block of hashish – after the pair boozed their way through five bottles of wine!

The film director has revealed that he went to Pitt’s French home, in a bid to get him to sign up for new flick, Inglourious Basterds. Tarantino claimed one of the “coolest” things Pitt did during the meeting was to “pull out a brick of hash” and give him a piece of it. Quoth Quentin: ”So he takes this brick and whips out a knife like Jesse James and cuts me off this big sliver.” After talking up the hash’s quality, Tarantino added that the two mega stars smoked it out of a soda can! However, this conflicts with Brad’s claim on Bill Maher’s show Real Time last week, where he said that his party days are over now that he’s a father of 6. Wonder how Brad feels about Quentin’s claim!
