Roll One Up, America: Obama Sushi Rolls

These are apparently sushi rolls made to look like US president Barack Obama. I think I speak for all of us when I say: the president has never tasted so good.

Sony scouting a tester for unreleased new product?

While the rumors of a PSP2 and PSP Phone have calmed down of late, they’re never truly dead. According to a fluent Japanese speaker translating a Sony Japan job listing for GameSpot, the company is on the hunt for an “evaluator / assessor for a new game machine.” More specifically, that elusive machine is said to be a “part of the PlayStation or PSP series and their peripherals.” The listing goes on to state that the lucky winner will “be part of an advisory staff that will play PlayStation series software on this new machine and check its functionality,” and they’ll also be able to “test game machines not yet released or new functionality of PS3 peripherals before they are released.” From there, it’s up to your imagination to determine what exactly this could be alluding to, but we’re setting our expectations remarkably low as to not be disappointed.

The ‘Conduit’ by designer Tirshathah Hunter is an identical concept phone that will work as a mobile workstation, apart from being used as a regular phone. The Conduit wraps up three different devices, including a rollaway flexible display to create a PDA with stylus, a regular cellphone with camera and a slimline cellphone that breaks away from the other components, into a single dazzling unit. While used alone, the slim phone requires a scroll tool or voice commands for calls and texting. All we can say is the ‘Conduit‘ is simply ‘a creative approach to mobility.’

There are tons of things happening around us at speeds that would make it impossible for us to capture them with the human eye.  Imagine being able to see a hummingbird’s wings.  What if you could see a bullet actually coming out of the chamber?

How about tons of water coming out of a faucet in slow motion?  You’d be surprised at how interesting some of this stuff looks when it’s suspended in time.

The Alcohol Shot Gun Let’s You Blast Your Friends With Booze

First it was the Russian Roulette Beer Bong and now its and Alcohol Shot Gun. I think they could work on the name a little since “Shot Gun” is going to make most people think of a shotgun. Regardless of the name this bad boy is a single shot pistol that fires 1 oz of booze at your intended victim boozer so be sure to pick up some kind of holster to keep the booze bottle handy for refills.

Microsoft Opening Retail Stores

When Microsoft demoed its retail experience privately last month, reactions were predictably mixed: some thought it made sense, others found themselves sizing it up with the Apple Store. Microsoft has a strong brand to sell, with Windows on desktops, laptops, cells and smartphones, and the Xbox 360 is no slouch, either. Putting it all together in one store, controlling its presentation, and having a physical space to demo products to the public — such as the Surface or Sync — seems like a smart move. Though it’ll be interesting to see if the company wants to directly compete with stores such as Best Buy and Gamestop, who sell Microsoft products at retail.

I think I speak for all of us when I say I am honestly not excited about this one bit.

The beer bong has just gotten fancy and possibly a little more fun. You spin the plastic bottles underneath the barrel and then pull out the bottle that stops in front of you. You might end up with a dry tube or you might end up with 2 liters (67 ounces) of beer rushing down your gullet. I guess depending on how you want your night to go either outcome could be considered lucky.

This thing would definitely make the beer bong a little more of a party friendly group activity instead of the two dudes in a corner activity that it usually is.
